| Most Sloan Flushometer valves are furnished with a Vacuum Breaker Flush Connection to prevent back siphonage. Sloan V-600-A and V-500-A Vacuum Breakers are designed and tested to ASSE Standard 1001. Vacuum Breakers are required by code by all United States and many international plumbing codes when the valve is connected to a potable water supply. When valves are installed on a non-potable water supply system vacuum breakers are not required. |
